Day 74 to Day 79 Christmas Break

Sunday 22 December to Friday 27 December

It was great to be home and spend some relaxing days with my family. I managed to uphold our Christmas tradition of making a Pavlova on Christmas Eve, and it was unanimously agreed that it was the best yet. It didn't sink, it was crisp on the outside and soft and gooey on the inside.

The gingerbread house is also an annual tradition.

It felt a bit weird being home for the first couple of days, and then it felt like I hadn't been away. I love being home and if I stay too long it will get harder and harder to go again.

It is time to get back to the trail.
